Services for Rodney Graf age 42 of Laurel will be held at the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Laurel on Saturday at 10:30 a.m. 

Visitation: Immanuel Lutheran Church in Laurel on Friday from 5:00 p.m. 8:00 p.m. with family present.
Interment: Belden Cemetery in Belden
Memorials: Directed to the family for later designation.
He died Saturday due to injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident in Greeley, Colorado, in which his wife, Melissa was also injured.

     Rodney Lee “Rod” Graf, son of Terry Graf and Kay (Arp)  Paulson was born July 21, 1969, in Plainview.  He graduated from Laurel High School in 1987, and helped farm with Dwight and Kay Paulson.  Later he farmed northwest of Laurel then moved to Concord and back to Laurel.  Rod worked at Great Dane in Wayne, Erwin Trucking in Laurel, then purchased his own truck.  He was employed by Wiemer’s Trucking in Laurel, Mark Oldlenkamp of Allen, and currently Double C of Laurel. Rod married Melissa Thompson September 20, 2003, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Laurel.  Rod was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church.
    Rod Graf is survived by his wife, Melissa; their daughter, Baylie; mother and step-father, Kay and Dwight Paulson of Laurel; father and step-mother, Terry and Betty Graf of Laurel;   sister, Trish (Scott) Jindra of Hooper; step-brother and his spouse, Scott and Coleen Carr of Easley, SC; step-sister and her spouse, Lisa and Steve Hansen of Laurel; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Scott and Deanna Thompson of Laurel; nieces and nephew, Ashley Whitehead, Morgan and Logan Hansen, Shana Mock, and Kayla Uerling; and step grandmother, Mildred Paulson of Laurel;  aunts and uncles.
    Rod was preceded in death by a brother, Jim in 2004; grandparents, August and Marjorie Arp, Kermit and Lois Graf,  step-grandparents, Howard Paulson and Frederick and Mary Mann.
      Rod’s family appreciates your thoughts and kindness and invites you to lunch in the Laurel City Auditorium following the service.
