Wayne State Baseball And Softball Teams Adjust Schedules

WAYNE - Wayne State College head baseball coach Brian Disch announced this morning that this weekend's Wayne State at Minnesota Duluth four-game NSIC series has been moved to Wayne due to poor weather conditions in Duluth.
Doubleheaders are scheduled to start Saturday and Sunday at 12 p.m. each day at the Pete Chapman Baseball Complex. The Wildcats are currently third place in the NSIC standings with an 8-2 league mark and are 16-8 overall.
The Southwest Minnesota State at Wayne State College NSIC softball doubleheader scheduled for Thursday at 2/4 p.m. at the Pete Chapman Softball Complex has been cancelled due to the weather. The next scheduled action for the Wildcats will be this weekend when Wayne State hosts St. Cloud State Saturday and Minnesota Duluth Sunday with doubleheaders set to begin at 12 p.m. each day. The Wildcats currently sit atop the NSIC standings with an 11-1 league mark and are 20-6 overall.
